My dear readers, I'm sorry that I change my blog's name in three times, but finally I choose it. Makeup artist - Peter Philips

Peter Philips is a Belgian makeup artist. He is currently the global creative director for Chanel Makeup, a position described by Vogue magazine as the "most coveted job in cosmetics" Philips' love of fashion and photography began when he was young. He studied graphic design, then moved to Antwerp's Academie Royale des Beaux-Arts. After being inspired by observing Paris Fashion Week backstage, Philips began working as a makeup artist. He became known for his use of unusual materials; at times, he incorporated feathers, pearls, and fabrics into his looks. He built up his portfolio by collaborating with photographers like Willy Vanderperre and Olivier Rizzo, and doing shoots for magazines such as i-D. He began to achieve global recognition for his work and collaborated with major labels and photographers such as Dries Van Noten, Fendi, Inez Van Lamsweerde and Peter Lindbergh, and shot with nearly every international edition of Vogue.
For two years before assuming the post of global creative director at Chanel Makeup in 2008, Philips trained with Dominique Moncourtois and Heidi Morawetz, who jointly headed Chanel Makeup for more than 30 years. As to his plans for Chanel Makeup, Philips told Vogue in August 2008, "I just want to do the things I like. I don't have a plan. I would like to shake up the brand a bit but not break it, and offer a nice palette, nice tools for women to use.

Edmonde Charles Roux

Edmonde Charles-Roux, who had previously worked at Elle and France-Soir, became the magazine’s editor-in-chief in 1954. Charles-Roux was a great supporter of Christian Dior's "New Look", of which she later said, "It signalled that we could laugh again - that we could be provocative again, and wear things that would grab people's attention in the street." In August 1956, the magazine issued a special ready-to-wear (prêt-à-porter) issue, signaling a shift in fashion's focus from couture production.
She left Vogue in 1966, as the result of a conflict for wanting to place a black woman on the cover of the magazine. When later asked about her departure, Charles-Roux refused to confirm or deny this account.
